Lookbook – Yesterday’s Company
www.myspace.com/lookbookmusic
I can’t get enough of Lookbook right now. They have a unique sound…not totally electronic but not too poppy. I’m looking for the lyrics to Yesterday’s Company if anyone can help me out. I found lyrics to a few of their other songs here blogs.myspace.com/lookbookmusic.
Their EP ‘I fear you, my darkness’ is rad as well, especially ‘Believe the hype’. It has a very sexy feel to it. Makes me want to be drinking mojitos on a beautiful, tropical beach in some foreign country.

We’ve all heard the rumors and conspiracy theories, but now, 30 years later, here’s an official report detailing the CIA’s mind-control tests used in the Cold War.

I’ve always been a fan of Diesel’s risky/controversial/rebellious ad campaigns. I remember first really noticing them when they had their ‘Global Warming Ready’ campaign and thinking it was pretty ballsy. But that is who they are and there are not many companies out there who could pull it off. I love it.

I’m planning on moving out of Vancouver soon so I’ve been thinking about what I’m going to miss about this city. I came up with a list of my favourite places to eat in Vancouver. Stay tuned…soon I’ll tell you my favourite places to drink.
- The Gallery: It’s the location and ambiance that make this one. I could sit here all day long and watch the sailboats go by.
- Finch’s: Amazing sandwiches, soups and desserts.
- Cafe Deux Soliel: My favourite breakfast place ever.
- The Reef: Everything is good here, especially the plantain chips with jerk mayo.
- Sweet Obsession: The only problem about this place is choosing a dessert. My recommendation: Passion fruit flan.
- Go Fish: Fresh seafood tacos, soup, sandwiches. Usually a huge line-up in the summer.
- Kintaro: Homemade ramen soup. Huge portions, make sure you are hungry.
- Bridges: Possibly the best patio in town and good, fresh food.
- Harambe: Ethiopian food. It looks a little intimidating but it is amazing.
- So.cial: Awesome sandwiches packed full of meat, cheese and veggies.
- Aphrodite’s: Organic/local ingredients. One of my all time favourite meals was had here.
- Habit Lounge: Delicious food and great ambiance.
- The Naam: Vegetarian restaurant open 24 hours. The Naam dragon bowl is my favourite.
- Moderne Burger: Classic burgers and sodas.
- La Grotta del Formaggio: Italian deli with incredible grilled panini sandwiches.

“So you need a typeface is an alternative way on how to choose fonts (or just be inspired) for a specific project, not just by browsing through the pages of FontBook. The list is (very loosely) based on the top 50 of the Top100 Best Schrieften by Font Shop.”

Going crabbing today reminded me of two of my favourite things. 1. Being on the water and 2. Watching the city getting smaller and smaller in the distance.
P.S. Best two bucks I’ve ever spent: hipstamatic camera app.
