My name is Lisa Temes and I am a graphic designer with a focus on branding, print and web design. Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, I studied print design and worked as a print designer for three years before deciding it was time to branch out into other mediums.
Deciding to return to school to further my education, I graduated from the Digital Design program at Vancouver Film School in April 2009 where I focused on branding, interactive design and user experience. Upon graduation I received four awards for my work including Best Communication Design, Best Interactive Design, Best Motion Design, and Best Team Project.
I believe that great design is in the details. It's more than just choosing colours, fonts, and images. It's about finding the best possible solution for the problem at hand. Good design works to present information in such a way to guide the user effectively through the content.
I love the design process. I always begins my design on paper and have sketchbooks full of ideas, layouts and logos. Beautiful typography makes me weak at the knees. I love what I do and that passion is manifested in my approach and my design.
